Gordon Pilet Ph.D., LCSW earned his Ph.D. from University of South Florida where he specialized in Psycho Educational Techniques in Adult Learners. His research in anger has been referenced internationally; has designed a research proven Anger Management Program; and has trained numerous Mental Health Interns in new methods of addressing suppressed / expressed anger issues. He holds an additional Ph.D. in Theology, and 3 Masters Degrees in Social Work, Criminal Justice, and Management, and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Florida. His clinic was the first to be State Certified in Domestic Violence in Hillsborough County, and he was instrumental in organizing the initial training and certification at MacDill AFB, Tampa. He was assigned for 3 years as Liason for to the 1993 Governor Domestic Violence Initiative, researching materials for committee review that resulted in the 1996 Florida DV Law. His Ph.D. Dessertation studied the impact of an Anger Management program within a 26 week DV Program; his results have been used internationally. He has been Certified as a First Responder and previously deployed to national disasters as he was to the devastating destruction to New Orleans by hurricane Katrina. Among other things he is a member of the Family Court Advisory Counsel, is a Certified First Responder, State Certified Domestic Violence Assessor and Facilitator. He served enlisted and officer ranks; retiring in the rank of Major in 1997. He is a two time combat veteran, retiring from the Air Force with over 30 awards and decorations. He is the Director of the Men's Program at Interventions, where he functions as trainer, assessor, facilitator and psychotherapist. Cary Pilet was a Fellowship recipient from Florida State University School of Nursing where she completed her Masters of Science Degree and later Licensed in Family Practice Medicine as a Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. She completed her Bachelors 1987 from Capital University. She was commissioned in the United State Air Force and became a member of the Nursing Corps and later qualified in flight medicine. She was Officer of The Year For Special Operations Command in 2008. She holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and has been activated to Special Operations Command post 911. She is responsible for the women's program, and is a State Certified Assessor and Facilitator.

Jeffrey Merin, PH.D. Dr Merin is a Licensed Psychologist. He has made significant inputs into the parenting, high conflict parenting and anger management programs. Although his private practice takes most of his available time, he provides clinical advice in high risk cases. Jeffrey specializes in adolescents and teens where is performs extensive evaluations for various agencies that they may better provide case management services. His association with Sidney J. Merin and Associates spans over 15 years.

Marsha is our Office Administrator Specialist. She handles the daily attendance needs of the hundreds of clients that use our services. She is the friendly voice on the phone that assists clients in their efforts to enroll, collect information or require special assistance. Marsha is the backbone in keeping the multiple demands of our busy office running smooth and orderly. She comes to us with ten years experience with the Department of Children and Families. She is also the proud mother of three and grandmother of one, with her terrific husband, Lemuel. She is also a volunteer with Northwest Elementary and the Meals on Wheels Program.
